Chrono Trigger - Gate Key
My dream prop.
I've loved Chrono Trigger for years and finally felt skilled enough to tackle the Gate Key late 2015.
I modeled the Key in 3DSMAX and had my boyfriend clean it up in ZBrush so that we could have it 3D printed. It was printed via Shapeways in Nylon powder. To get it ready for molding, I coated it in XTC and sanded till I was happy with the surface. Molds were made from Dragonskin silicone. The mothermold for the main body is Free Foam Air. Final casts of the Key are Onyx resin with EpoxAcast gems.
