One Piece - Soge King Mask
This has been on my personal to-do list for a while before it became my birthday present to my boyfriend. Sadly, I didn't get as many WIP photos as I usually do for a project. I was so focused on filming my painting, that I forgot to stop and take pictures. I'll have that up on Youtube eventually.
This project was mainly modeled in Zbrush, with the goggles starting in Fusion 360. It was printed on my Polyprinter 229 in ABS, and then sanded and finished. The nose is wrapped in real gauze with some paint for grime. The rest of the mask is airbrushed with Tamiya and then clear coated with Pledge floor care, a tip I learned from a model plane forum. I paid extra attention to my masking to make sure that all paint edges were as crisp as possible and I think it paid off.
