SoulCalibur - Eiserne Drossel
This project began with creating a template in Illustrator, then printing on a large format printer. This was transferred to a 4 ft by 4 ft sheet of Sintra, .25" thick and cut by hand. A sintra spine was attached to guide me on where to build up the Free Form Air epoxy clay. This was sanded smooth and a detail section added along the spine in Styrene. To help it adhere, I coated it in a thin coat of XTC and sanded it smooth.
I wet sanded it; starting at 250 grit, up to 2000 grit. Spaz Stix Black Backer spray was used, followed by Spaz Stix Chrome, and Spaz Stix clear coat. It was finished with acrylic paint in recess to help it pop.
